Okay, I've got some catch up to do here. In this post you will find pics from the Holidays. Next post will be up shortly with pics and updates from the new year. Enjoy!
Thanksgiving in the Bay Area:
Sidney finally got to meet the Reyes family.

Meeting Jaime

Meeting Sonia

Meeting Auntie Connie. Somehow we ended up without a picture with Gabe :-/

Loving Sonia despite her singing of country music ;-)
On this trip, Sidney also finally got to meet Avi and Dan. All of the pictures from that meeting are on the Halem's camera so we will have to post those later...Sorry.
Hannukah:

Sidney's first Channukah candles. We just let her touch them a little bit :-)

Sidney loved the candles and the singing every night. I think she got accustomed to it after eight nights and would have been happy if we continued doing it every night.

Opening her 1st Channukah present from Nanna

The taste of approval

I love this cheek view

This picture captures one of Sidney's hilarious habits. She will often carry things around her mouth. Usually it is one of her socks, which she selects out of the laundry basket or pulls off of her feet immediately after being put on. It then gets to travel around in her mouth as she crawls about.
She has also been really into "touch and feel" books, which is what she is looking at here with Papa.

Christmas and New Years: We headed back down to the bay area to celebrate Christmas with Helen and the Reyes'. This time we drove instead of flying. Sidney got pretty tired of sitting in her car seat, but with some gymnastic car seat nursing, she did quite well over all.
Sidney got to experience her first Reyes tamales party:

Very happy to see Sonia and Auntie Connie again. In typical Sidney style she happily hung out and socialized with everyone at the party. Juan and I barely held her once.

Juan spent some quality time with Isaak and Micah teaching them to make faces.

Micah and Isaak are naturals and super sweet with their cousin.
The most entertaining present of all:

Just to confirm that she does cry.

In the fish tunnel at Steinhart with papa and her Auntie Lily
The two cousins play...or as Avi calls it "baby fights":

Sidney demonstrates to Hannah the joys of socks. Hannah, being 6 days younger, listens carefully to her wise older cousin.

...and gives it a try

...alright, that's enough. Give it back.

On a walk with Grandma

We accidentally left our ergo carrier at home so we borrowed Lily and Dan's bjorn. Sidney enjoyed her facing forward experience.

Meeting Mary and Julia...and Tyson, though he's not pictured. Would you believe that Julia is 4 months younger than Sidney?!
Lunch break in Ashland on the drive back home:

Okay, so that's the first installment.
Stay tuned for some really cute pictures, video updates and Jenny and David's visit.
Coming soon, I promise!
