Halloween Buzz

It's Halloween and Sidney celebrated by hanging out in her bumble bee costume (courtesy of Jemma). Needless to say...she was pretty cute...and we took a few pictures.

How's this for a timely update!
We met up with some friends at the pumpkin patch on Sauvie Island this morning. It was a great way to soak up the beautiful fall weather and provided some classic photo ops of the kiddos. Here are some cute ones of little Sid:






Sid probably would have been happy standing at this pumpkin sucking on the stem all day...but we moved on to more pumpkins...

I KNOW, it's been a long time since a post. We have been having such an amazing time watching this sweet girl grow. It's amazing to witness her development and our love which deepens hourly. We can hardly believe how lucky we are to have such a wonderfully sweet little Sidney.

So here it is...Sidney at almost 7 months!

It's been a busy time for Sidney. She has been working on some new tricks...

This is Sidney's first day at day care. She will still be with my parents 2 days a week and now at day care 2 days a week. She is also demonstrating her newly improved sitting skills.

She made friends immediately. So far, she seems find day care quite exciting. There are so many new people and toys to play with that she has a hard time finding time to eat or sleep much while there. The day care, excuse me, the child development center, is really amazing. They feed local organic food, put kiddos in cloth diapers, have a compost pile, do lots of art and all the classrooms have Spanish immersion.

This video cracks me up. Sidney gets SO excited whenever she sees the cats, but they don't ever come too close. Check out her huge smile at the very beginning.




This is mostly just Sidney looking around, but it's so darn cute I had to share it.

So that's our update. Sorry it took so long. I'm sure she'll be crawling soon, so we'll keep you posted!
